Mom is not doing very well. I pray the cancer is not back but when she had the mascetomy I dont think they got it all. If only she hadnt waited to go to the Dr. The tumor was so big. I have had my mom for 60 years but I would love to have her for awhile more as long as she isnt in pain. When I lose my mom, God will be the lucky one to have her in heaven. The last 5 years with mom and dad have been rough ones. Dad got bladder cancer but he was lucky his CA stays in the bladder. They go in and remove the tumor and then he will be great for a couple of years, but his heart is not good. He is in CHF, but what do you expect he is 87 years old. My mom is 84. I have been so blessed to have them in my life, and to have had them all these years.
Sew Bitter Sweet Design Blog is having a fantastic giveaway. 2 are going to win bundles of Kona from Fat Quarters. Love Fat Quarters, it is a favorite. I am doing a BOM at Fat Quarters and it is really reasonable and I love the fabric. The only good thing is no one knows about this blog. Once I learn to put the pictures up and do a couple tutorials, maybe then

Just got notification that two ladies are sending me 2 1/2 blocks for a Postage stamp quilt. MerryMary even gave me a web site where there are several patterns for 2 1/2 bock postage stamp quilts. The finished quilts are great. MerryMary even had one of her quilts on the website. Astride S thanks also for sending me charms and your help. One thing I have found out getting into guilting that there are a lot of good women out there. Thanks to anyone, and especially these two women, for all the help and to the Curious Shop Quilter for starting
the Postage stamp challenge and helping newbes out.

Going to join a Jelly Roll Race with a few friends. Should be a lot of fun. I'm trying to get my daughter Tammy to join us, but she does not sew much, but like I told her you just have to sew straight lines, I hope she does it. Been checking out sales for the jelly roll, they sure have a lot of gorgeous ones.
